Programme Overview
This fixed-term, 24-month salaried programme offers supported early career development by building on-site technical expertise, practical experience and professional confidence.
Each Graduate Trainee is assigned a senior team member as a dedicated Mentor/Line Manager who will provide guidance, set goals, and help plan day-to-day workloads. Regular performance and development reviews will take place quarterly, tracking progress and focusing on developing key skills in areas such as site management, technical delivery, and professional behaviour.
Carey’s provides a dedicated CPD training fund to support ongoing learning. Trainees are encouraged to discuss any suitable training opportunities they have identified, with their Mentor/Line Manager. In addition, all Trainees will complete the required health and safety accreditations in line with Carey’s site standards. Each graduate will complete a Capstone Project: a practical project as assigned to them by their Mentor/Line Manager, to be completed by the end of the 24 month period to mark the end of the programme.
Upon successful completion, graduate trainees can have the option to progress into future roles within the company, including options to specialise in different areas according to strengths and interest. Performance and readiness will be assessed at the 18 month mark and the 24 month mark.
