Junior Project Manager
This position will be primarily site based and working across a range of Galway City-based Projects. To suit someone with two years experience in similar role
This position will report to the Project Manager and/or Contracts Manager.
Package:
A competitive Salary is negotiable based on experience.
Company pension after 6 months probation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Contracts Manager with daily tasks and take on small workstreams to help manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Assisting with the management of works programmes, help create and manage project timelines and progress.
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance and that work is completed on time.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders including Clients and Design Teams and assist with project meetings.
- Help prepare Contractor’s Reports and Submittals.
- Record necessary information in order to issue appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contractual notices, terms of agreement etc.)
- Maintain and record project documents and information on Procore info-sharing platform.
- Liaise with Quantity Surveying Team with regards to Orders and Budget & Cost control.
- Contribute to quality control efforts, ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations and conduct site visits to verify standards.
- Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies
Qualifications:
- Third Level qualification in Construction Management or similar is required
- 2 years experience in a similar role
- Some familiarity with BIM processes and procedures is desirable
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Site Engineer
This position will be primarily site based and working across various locations in the West/North-West. To suit someone with 2-3 years experience in similar role
Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a Site Engineer to join the existing team. The Site Engineer will support the Project Manager and Site Manager in delivering projects safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll play a key role in setting out, technical coordination, and ensuring that project information and progress are accurately captured using Procore, our construction management platform. This position will be primarily site-based.

Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Project/Contract Managers and Site Managers regarding construction programmes and supplier outputs.
- Assisting the Site Manager in the day to day running of live projects.
- Set out works in accordance with project drawings, site surveys and specifications.
- Oversee quality control and record as-built information throughout the construction process.
- Manage and monitor subcontractor works to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
- Check and interpret plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Proving technical submittals and RFIs as required.
- Maintain accurate site records using Procore, including RFIs, drawings, inspections, and progress tracking.
- Upload and manage daily reports, photos, and QA documentation through Procore.
- Liaise effectively with the design team, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical queries.
- Providing records in respect of variation orders and site instructions.
- Assist the site manager in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site. This includes reviewing sub-contractor’s health and safety plans.
- Identify potential risks or quality issues early and report appropriately.
- Write method statements when required.
- Contribute to coordination meetings and progress reviews.
- Support coordination of materials, deliveries, and site logistics.
Requirements:
- Third Level qualification in Civil Engineering or similar is required
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- Fluent in English and be eligible to work in Ireland
- Ability to understand technical concepts and work with technical departments and personnel to achieve goals.
- Some familiarity with BIM processes and procedures is desirable
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
