Client: Galway Fire and Rescue Service, Galway Co Council
This project involved the construction of a new 2 storey Fire Station on a greenfield site with all associated site works. It involved the construction of a Four Appliance Bay Building with ancillary accommodation and training facilities to include a 5 storey training tower with height over 15m with forecourt to the front to include a car park and training yard to the rear. It included complex service installations. It is situated along the N17 Milltown to Galway road outside the town of Tuam.
This followed on from a competitive tendering process. We worked closely with our partners Simon J Kelly Architects, Peter Costello & Partners, Ryan Hanley Consulting Engineers, Don O’Malley & Partners, OLM Consultancy and Galway County Council.
